Minister of Justice Maja Popović met today with the Ambassador of Germany to Serbia, H.E. Thomas Schieb, to discuss Serbia’s next steps towards EU integration and Germany’s support to that end.
Minister Popović said that the implementation of reforms relevant to the negotiations with the EU would be among the top priorities of her Ministry in the coming period. She thanked the German Ambassador for the support his country was providing Serbia in its EU-accession process.
Minister Popović and Ambassador Schieb noted that the cooperation between the two countries in the field of justice was fruitful, albeit with some room for improvement.
The German Ambassador congratulated Ms Popović on her appointment and wished her success in her future work.
