Justice Minister Nela Kuburović-Kisić condemns most harshly the circulation of a photograph of a falsified amendment to the Rulebook on Ex-Officio Defence Attorney Fees (known as the tariff of ex-officio defence attorneys).

Mrs Kuburović-Kisić notes that during her mandate no amendments to the Rulebook had even been planned, and that no amendments at attorneys’ disadvantage would ever be supported by the Ministry of Justice.

Mrs Kuburović-Kisić finds this malicious act by the maker of the falsified amendment to the Rulebook to have been taken with the aim of disrupting the relationship between the attorney-profession representatives and their parent ministry.

Mrs Kuburović-Kisić has already called on all competent authorities to investigate the facts of this case, so that the parties responsible would be brought to justice and any similar irresponsible and unprofessional behaviour of individuals, with a premeditated intent to harass and disrupt the work of attorneys, entirely prevented. ‘Transparency and the partnership between attorney-profession representatives and the Ministry of Justice will not be smeared or damaged by this shameful act’, she concluded.
