As of today, proceedings within the purview of the Third Basic Court Civil Dispute Department will be taking place in a new building at 274(g) Tošin Bunar Street, which the Ministry of Justice has made available to the Court.
While the Third Basic Court will remain at the old address 16 Bulevar Mihaila Pupina, its Civil Dispute Department will now be operating in a space of around 1,300 square metres in the new building which the Government of the Republic of Serbia had ceded to the Ministry of Justice.
Considering that one of the main priorities of the Ministry of Justice has been the improvement of judicial infrastructure, great effort over the past several years has gone into the reconstruction and the adaptation of existing facilities which house judicial organs as well as the construction of entirely new buildings. Consequently, better working conditions have been created for the employees of the justice sector, which further increases their total performance and efficiency.
From 2012 to 2019, nearly 12 billion dinars were invested in the full renovation, adaptation, (re)construction, remediation or upgrading of over 200,000 square meters of space, including the Palace of Justice in Kragujevac which is currently under construction.
