The Ministry of Justice condemns most harshly the physical assault on Mr Goran Petronijević, an attorney-at-law, and Mr Novica Peković, a retired judge, which has occurred in the centre of Belgrade.
The Ministry of Justice salutes the quick reaction of the competent authorities in identifying the assailants, and expects that all facts surrounding the incident will be determined urgently, so that the assailants can be brought to justice in the shortest time possible.
The Ministry of Justice condemns every form of violence, and especially violence against attorneys-at-law and individuals holding judicial offices who fight every day to protect the rights of Serbia’s citizens and, thus, the national legal order.
