The commission comprises representatives of relevant institutions: public prosecutor’s offices, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Justice. Such a composition is to ensure that the selected projects in the field in the field of social policy, health, education, culture and humanitarian work, are of the highest public interest.

Thus far, the Ministry of Justice has conducted four annual public calls for the awarding of ‘opportunity funds’. The total amount of funds awarded over the last four years (2016–2019) exceeded 1.6 billion dinars.

The total funds expected to be awarded in 2020 amount to 500 million dinars.
