With regard to the registration-fee-based ‘info sessions’ offered by some organisations and agencies in connection with the public call for the award of funds collected on the basis of non-prosecution agreements (‘opportunity funds’), the Ministry of Justice notes that it is fully autonomous in conducting the public call and has no connection whatsoever with such sessions.

The Ministry of Justice points out that the allocation of funds is to be decided by a commission of the Ministry of Justice composed of representatives of relevant institutions who should select projects of the highest public interest. Therefore, no one can guarantee that participants of such ‘info sessions’ paying a high registration fee will receive a portion of opportunity funds.

All requirements under the public call, the list of documents to be enclosed with the application and the manner of its submission, the eligibility criteria and other relevant details are available on the Ministry’s website for clarity and full transparency. Interested parties can also call the telephone numbers designated by the Ministry for further information and clarification.

All those who are interested in applying for the funds are hereby invited to apply directly to the Ministry of Justice since the deadline for applications is twenty days from the date of publication of the public call in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia.
