With regard to misinformation reported by certain media in connection with the property owned by Justice Minister Nela Kuburović, the Minister’s Office would like to specify her assets’ details.

A search through public officials’ assets in the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) Registry will clearly show that between 2014 and 2018 Minister Kuburović was in possession of inherited property only.

The inherited property comprised: 1/3 of a two-bedroom flat (of total 72.29 m2); 1/9 of land with a single family house and an ancillary building (of total 8 hectares, 4 ares and 9 m2); 1/9 of agricultural land – pasture (of total 3 hectares, 44 ares and 15 m2); 1/9 of woods (of total 35 ares and 30 m2); and 1/9 of arable land (of total 30 ares and 9 m2).

In 2018, Minister Kuburović bought herself a flat (45.28 m2) having taken out a 25-year home loan. This property purchase was duly reported to the ACA, as can be seen in the 2018 report.

Minister Kuburović’s detailed assets declaration can be found on the ACA’s website.

Considering that tendentious and semi-accurate information is presented to the public, the Justice Ministry notes that Minister Kuburović is available at all times to explain all her assets and origins thereof to the public.
