A round-table discussion on enforcement proceedings was held in the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia (AmCham) where the attendees were presented with the Ministry of Justice’s plans to automatise the enforcement proceedings which should enable greater legal certainty and simultaneously increase the transparency of the proceedings.

In addition to the specific issues and challenges in the application of the current legal framework, the panellists spoke about the specialisation of judges and courts being overburdened with cases, i.e. efficiency of the justice system.

Judges of the Supreme Court of Cassation Mr Predrag Trifunović and Ms Tatjana Matković, judge of the Commercial Court of Appeal Mr Mladen Nikolić, judge of the First Basic Court in Belgrade Mr Nikola Stošić and Professor Nikola Bodiroga all participated in the discussion.
