The Ministry of Justice has published the working draft of the National Strategy for the Exercise of the Rights of Victims and Witnesses of Crime for the 2019-2025 period on its website.
The text of the Strategy comes as a result of the Republic of Serbia’s strategic commitment to securing an adequate level of procedural rights, systemic, professional and accessible help and support to all victims and witnesses of crimes. The primary objective of Strategy adoption is to plan and organise all reform processes directed at improving the position of victims and witnesses of crime in a comprehensive and systemic way, and all in accordance with the European standards.
To ensure contributions to the Strategy drafting are received, the Ministry of Justice invites the community of experts to submit their comments to the working draft during the consultative process
