The Ministry of Justice published today at its website the Draft Amendments to the Constitution in the field of judiciary, which are harmonised with the recommendations of the Venice Commission.
In view of the new Draft, the Ministry of Justice will organise a round table to present amendments to the expert public.
The Ministry of Justice expects that any inconsistencies of the proposal with the opinion of the Venice Commission will be eliminated at the round table which will be open for the attendance of representatives of all relevant judicial institutions and civil society organisations, as well as international institutions.
After the round table discussion, the Ministry of Justice will forward the text of the Draft to the Government of the Republic of Serbia for a further procedure.
