Minister of Justice Nela Kuburović wished today happy Rosh Hashanah to Chief Rabbi Isak Asiel and all members of the Jewish community in Serbia, wishing them a sweet and good year.
“By celebrating Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish people revive memories of their magnificent past, tradition and culture, drawing from it necessary spiritual strength and energy. Let Rosh Hashanah, the head of the year, lights the way of reconciliation, repentance and forgiveness, inviting us to build together a world in which nations will live in peace and mutual respect”, Kuburović wrote.
Expressing deep respect, Minister Kuburović wished all members of the Jewish community to celebrate the holidays with a feeling of deep interconnection and inviolability of the connection between our two nations.
